Never before has research been conducted specifically into the affect of bridle fit on performance. The Fairfax Performance Bridle is the result of two years research using the same pliance and gait analysis technology used to create the revolutionary Fairfax saddles. The results of the study have been published in the Journal of Equine Veterinary Science and was the first paper regarding the effect of tack to be accepted in the journal’s history.

The Fairfax Performance Bridle has been designed to avoid pressure on all key sensitive areas, particularly the temporomandibular joint (TMJ,) an area that is just being realised as a major factor in the horses straightness and way of going.

This bridle is proven to:

• Allow greater forlimb extention
• Increase knee & hock flexion

Made from premium first selection Sedgewick leather and fully lined with Prolite the Fairfax Performance Bridle is hand stitched in Walsall and has the option of Swarovski decorated browbands.

Due to its unique design and construction the Fairfax Performance Bridle is not available to purchase as a complete bridle but is sold as individual bridle parts based on the horses’ measurements to ensure the best fit possible. It is recommended the Fairfax Performance Bridle is fitted by a Fairfax trained fitter
